Janine graduated in 1992 from the international Academy of Physiotherapy in Utrecht, The Netherlands, with a bachelor of physiotherapy. She migrated to Australia in 1993 and worked in private practice as a senior physiotherapist and manager for 3 years before taking over Mitchelton Physiotherapy in 1997.
Janine’s area of special interest are sports injuries, especially in children and young adults, acupuncture, kinesio taping, lymphoedema and venous oedema.
Janine became a lymphoedema practitioner in 1996 and is registered on the NLPR (National lymphoedema Practitioner Register), is a member of the ALA (Australasian Lymphoedema Association) and the LAQ (lymphoedema association Queensland ). Janine is also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
When Janine is not at work she loves watching sports especially soccer and tennis, enjoys going to the gym and many types of craft.
Irene graduated with a bachelor of physiotherapy from UQ in 2014. Since then, she worked in community age care and musculoskeletal private practice.
Irene’s special interests are general physiotherapy of the neck, back, hips, pelvis and shoulders, clinical Pilates and lymphoedema management. Irene enjoys working with a range of age groups and assisting people with injury prevention as well as rehabilitation.
Irene is also a member of APA (Australian Physiotherapy Association) and ALA (Australasian Lymphology Association).
During Irene’s spare time, she enjoys doing Pilates, cooking, hiking and snowboarding.
John graduated in 2014 from Satakunta University of applied science in Pori Finland. John has done post graduate studies in examining and treating the spinal area using the Maitland approach.
John’s area of special interest are sports injuries and enjoys helping people of all ages get back to normal function as soon as possible.
John is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
In his spare time John enjoys spending time with his family, watching rugby league, playing touch football and going to the beach.
